Chas’ roots in Williamson County run deep.  His family has called Williamson County home for six generations and proudly witnessed it grow and flourish while preserving its rich history and maintaining its natural beauty.  Chas has practiced law in downtown Franklin since 1996 and now makes his home in Westhaven with his wife Christa and 9-year-old twins who are proud Panthers at Pearre Creek Elementary School.  Growing up in a much smaller Franklin, Chas understands the values that have made Williamson County one of the best places to live in the country.

Chas graduated from Battle Ground Academy and continued his education at Stanford University where he was also an All-American and individual Pac-10 swimming champion and team captain for the Cardinal’s 1993 NCAA Championship team.  After completing his undergraduate degree at Stanford, Chas returned to Tennessee, graduated from Vanderbilt Law School and embarked on his career as an attorney in his beloved hometown.

Chas is a member of the Franklin Rotary Club at Noon and served in its officer rotation culminating in his year as its president from 2004-2005.  Chas is a graduate of Leadership Franklin and serves as the Day Chair of Criminal Justice Day.  Chas has also served on the Community Board for the YMCA of Franklin, the Alumni Board for Battle Ground Academy, was a founding board member of the Franklin Noon Rotary Foundation and now serves on the Board for the Westhaven Foundation.
Chas would be proud to serve you on the Williamson County Commission.
